【台北訊】有關今日自由時報引述美國「自由之家（Freedom House）」所公佈之「二○一○年世界各國新聞自由度調查報告」，於A1版所進行報導，報導第二段提及「除了中時，年代電視台、中央社和公共電視也被『自由之家』點名批評。」經審視「自由之家」所發布原文後，文中並未見任何對台灣公共電視批評之語。
該報告登載有關台灣公共電視相關原文，摘錄如下：
“Some efforts to increase government control over publicly owned media emerged during 2008, with lawmakers freezing half the budget of the Taiwan Public Television Service for much of the year; in December, parliamentary committees approved resolutions requiring government item-by-item approval of programming budgets, but the bill was pending at year’s end.”
